AAM Content Advisory Committee
Applications are now open through August 21!
Become a Content Advisory Committee Member
As a member of AAM’s volunteer Content Advisory Committee (CAC), you’ll work alongside a diverse group of museum professionals from across the country to review proposals, identify emerging ideas, and help build the educational program for the AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo.
Serving on the CAC gives you a behind-the-scenes look at hundreds of ideas from across the museum community before anyone else sees them. You’ll help curate a conference that inspires thousands of museum professionals while expanding your own understanding of emerging trends, innovative practices, and the issues shaping our field.
The CAC seeks museum professionals across different types of museums and functional roles to review and recommend content for the 2027 AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo to be held May 5-8, 2027, in Houston. CAC members serve a one-year term. You’ll also experience the conference you helped shape—connecting with thousands of museum professionals, exploring new ideas, and seeing your work come to life during the Annual Meeting. As a thank-you for your service, CAC members receive complimentary registration for the 2027 AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo.
Interested in joining the CAC? Apply by August 21.
