The Inaugural Trustee Summit will announce the findings and report from the 2016 AAM Leading with Intent national survey of museum trustees and CEOs. The survey was conducted in partnership with BoardSource, a nationally recognized organization responsible for strengthening nonprofit board leadership. Since 1994, BoardSource has conducted a biannual benchmarking study of nonprofit board practices, policies, and performance, providing a powerful window into current board leadership and trends. This is the first national survey of museum CEOs and trustees, who will also be able to compare their performance to that of leaders in the broader nonprofit community. Panel discussions of the findings by trustees and CEOs will follow the survey announcement.
