Alliance Fellowship Program

The AAM Annual Meeting Fellowship is a professional growth opportunity that provides financial support for students and museum professionals at any stage of their career to attend the AAM Annual Meeting & MuseumExpo. The program is designed to nurture greater inclusivity—for the benefit of museums, museum professionals, and the diverse audiences they serve—by supporting the professional development of individuals from underrepresented or marginalized groups.

AAM-Getty International Program

Financial support is offered to non-U.S. museum professionals to attend the AAM Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo through the AAM-Getty International Program. To be eligible for support, individuals must work in an art museum or work with art collections in a museum in countries with developing or emerging economies.

AAM-Getty Multicultural Undergraduate Internship Alumni Program

The American Alliance of Museums and the Getty Foundation have partnered to provide a unique experience for alumni of the Getty’s Multicultural Undergraduate Internship program. This program reflects the Getty Foundation’s ongoing commitment to provide professional development opportunities to former participants of the internship program.
