Description
If you're surprised to find yourself writing content for exhibits, or if you just want to expand your skill set and learn how to write more effective labels, come and discover tips and techniques to make your writing more engaging and accessible to a broader audience. Practice your skills with colleagues, and, if you like, bring some of your most troublesome content to work on with the group.

Bio
Adam has worked at the MFA, Boston for more than a decade, and for the last five years as head of interpretation. Trained as a poet (and in art history), he is particularly interested in the ways museums might engage broad audiences through something as "old school" as gallery text. In 2015 the AAM Excellence in Label Writing competition honored the MFA with two awards; for 2016/17 Adam is serving as a juror.

Bio
Bonnie has worked with museums to develop labels that connect visitors of all ages with art, air and space, animals, ecosystems, magic and more. A freelance writer since 2004 after eight years at the California Science Center, she has seen her label writing work recognized twice by her peers at AAM.

Bio
Eileen Campbell is a writer and museum exhibit developer. With her firm, Farallon Media, she has worked on exhibits and other interpretive projects across the country. She judged AAM's 2015-16 label-writing competitions and has been an honoree multiple times. She began her career at the Monterey Bay Aquarium and is currently Senior Science Writer at the Exploratorium in San Francisco.

Bio
Though she began her museum career as an accidental exhibit writer, Jennifer now serves as the senior exhibit writer/researcher at the California Science Center, where she endeavors to write exhibit text with purpose. Once upon a time, Jennifer wrote academic journal articles, edited a girls' magazine, and even penned a children's pop-up book.
